How It Started

Started by a group of Whitefish’s staple Galleries in 2019, Summer ArtFest is designed to showcase some of the best artists from the western art world in arguably Montana’s most picturesque city. Inspired with building a community in mind, this show has plans to expand into a week-long annual event encompassing all art forms and spread throughout the downtown Whitefish area.

Not only do you have auctions, live demonstrations and personal interactions with artists to look forward to; but numerous participating Galleries in Downtown Whitefish will be opening their doors and hosting workshops or engaging discussions. Visit Going to The Sun Gallery, Frame of Reference, Group B Gallery, Whitefish Pottery and Nancy Cawdrey Gallery for more events throughout the weekend.

2020 Summer ArtFest will welcome premier contemporary Western artists for demonstrations, educational presentations, live auctions and a chance to discover new artwork to fall in love with!
