Collection: Sandy Bridgewater

I'm inspired by the play of light, when it reflects and creates all the beautiful colors seen in nature.  I love painting high vibrational artwork from my own photos or memory, to inspire peace, serenity, and a little awe.  Oil paint on canvas is my preference.  Creating representational fine art scenes of mountains, sunsets, interesting lighting, ocean waves, and the amazing colors found in nature and atmosphere.

      As an artist growing up on Cape Cod, I was first focused on illustration, then attending classes at the Art Institute of Boston and working as a Graphic Artist right in high school creating logo designs and selling freelance illustrations.  Commission painting was always a hobby.  Living in the Rocky Mountains for decades now, I intuitively paint colorful renditions of the beauty found in nature.  Enjoy!
